Sorry, I'm HORRIBLE about checking email. As for the honey, we only have five hives so it's more of a hobby than anything else. We don't produce enough to market it. We give most of it away to family.

Becky,

What type of honey is produced as a result of your husbands beekeeping? Is there a website to look at and order from? Have a great Sunday.

Hi Becky,

You might want to give these wines from http://www.carljungwines.com/ a try. I have not personally tasted these yet but from what I have looked over on their website they may prove helpful. Where is your husbands beekeeping operation? That is something I'm interested in, I use honey daily in my diet.

Warm regards,

WineGuyMike

My husband is a beekeeper and recently decided to make mead with all the "leftover" honey we have. The mead starts out pretty dry and he adds more honey to sweeten it. The problem is that he doesn't drink. I love being his taste tester (I mean who wouldn't love their husband to keep pouring the wine saying, "Honey, taste this!") but he has no basis for comparison when I talk about how dry or semi-sweet or pungent it is. I picked up some Fre wine to try to show him, but that tastes like old, flat grape juice. Are there/is there any decent NA wine brand(s) that can help me "explain" what I'm talking about?
